The blankets were crocheted. I find crochet more fun than knitting!

I’ve heard of a temperature blanket. Post it when you’re done! I’d love to see it.

Great article (and blanket!), which reminds me of my mom, an expert seamstress. Unfortunately, I got a "D" in junior high sewing class! Maybe that's why I turned away from that and focused more on art. But, I often think of mom's sewing when I work on things like collage, piecing stuff together for art works. And I think of book binding and sketchbook making as somehow connected to sewing.
